Just when you thought we hit bottom, we find another way to lower our perception to the rest of the world. I am beginning to wonder if we can even be considered a civilized society. Greeks sit around telling everyone who will listen, that we were the cradle of civilization but you would never know it by the way we act. Instead of progressing, we are regressing. I wonder if there is room for a fourth world country, believe me, we are right there. It is time to stop talking about what the Turks and the Germans have done to us and take a serious look at what just happened to these farm migrants. The fact that they were not getting paid is bad enough, but to resort to intimidation, fear and violence is beyond outrageous. Especially in these times, it is not 1823 or 1945, it is 2013. Haven't we learned anything??? Where is the outrage from our own people??? The police should not have to look for these animals, we should be dragging them down to the authorities ourselves and demanding justice and punishment. What just happened is a reflection on all of us. We should be embarrassed and ashamed. It all starts with the little things, running a red light, not paying taxes, stealing from the government. Each action performed with impunity leads to bigger and bolder actions. So instead of sitting around talking about what just happened, why not do something about it???
